Sorry I haven’t posted in a few months. It’s probably been closer to a year, actually. This photo is of a worker in a European city which name escapes me. Good news is I have been doing some freelance work and I’m getting back into photography and I’ll be posting on here a lot more now.
I haven’t posted in a while; I’ve been pretty busy. This is an abandoned gas station in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I find it ironic that it says “service is our business”, yet it is abandoned and no one will be getting service from this station.
On the first day of my trip to New Orleans, my mom and I were driving down the road when I practically yelled to stop when I saw the work of JR. I saw this guy looking at the wall and thought it was interesting.
D&D Ornamental Concrete, Napoleonville, Louisiana. They call it a “rastus”, which is a derogatory term for black people while the white version of this statue is called a “fishing boy”. Southern racism at its finest.
